SoftBank店員に聞いた、携帯端末を無くした状態での契約解除ってどうするの？

0円運用で2年縛りのiphoneを解約したかったのですが、端末を紛失した状態でした。
以前解約した際は、端末がある状態でしたので、SIM抜いてぽーんと2〜3分くらいですぐ解約が完了したのですが、端末がなく、SIMも回収できない状態の場合はいったいどうなるのでしょうか。

検索しても中々ピンポイントな答えが出てこなかったため、別件でSoftBankショップに行った際に店員さんに質問してみました。

電話番号がわかれば良い

SIMが回収できなくても、契約自体は解約したい端末の電話番号と、契約者の身分証明書があれば良いそうです。

電話番号もわからない場合

特に0円運用でipod替わりにしていた人なら電話番号すらわからない事もあると思いますその場合、下記様なフローで解約が可能だそうです。

1.契約者の身分証明書を提示
2.契約者情報で、SoftBankのデータセンター？に契約情報を問い合せしてくれる
3.電話番号がわかった段階で契約解除可能

「2.」の段階で、先方の電話対応混雑状況によって、1〜2時間かかる事はあるそうですが、いずれにしても契約者本人が解約に行った場合は日をまたぐ事なく契約解除は完了するそうです。
